Eurocable
Today’s touring productions demand simple and reliable cabling solutions that can withstand the nightly abuse of live events. The Eurocable series of microphone, multicore audio, Ethernet, DMX, multicore speaker, and video cables are designed for touring and live broadcast applications. The Eurocable material, with its proprietary manufacturing processes, guarantees a long flex life critical for professional applications. Eurocable is constructed from flame-resistant PVC and known for extreme flexibility and durability.
LK Connectors
Initially introduced for professional audio applications, Link’s range of LK Connectors adhere to the basic principles of strength and reliability. The restyling and construction of the LK range has been specifically designed to meet the criteria of the Live Entertainment and Broadcast industries. LK configurations and their wiring standards support secure connections for portable equipment in the harshest of conditions.
The LK Range is extensive and covers many of the standard formats of multipin connector as well as introducing new concepts of hybrid connectivity. Initially 22live has made use of the LK25 for loudspeaker multis. LK25 Audio connectors for returns systems, and LK54 for all stage line systems.
Unbreakable Fibre
The eurocable FOHD unbreakable LSZH multi-mode and single-mode fiber optic cables from Link have been created to satisfy the demanding elements of the entertainment market when using new signal distribution systems with connections for optical signals, where cables that can withstand the day to day use for live events is crucial. Designed to tolerate extreme bend radiuses with low attenuation, the triple jacketed cable is reinforced with aramid fibers to ensure maximum tensile strength.
Available with multiple termination methods, LSZH is a next generation cable specifically designed for live entertainment and broadcast applications.
22live has been deploying Quad Fibre’s terminated to HMA as standard.
