22live Appointed MIPRO Wireless Specialist Reseller

22live, the UK’s next generation pro-audio service provider, has been appointed a specialist reseller of MIPRO Digital wireless systems, which have gained a reputation as being a preferential system for use with wireless audio analyser systems.
22live has adopted MIPRO ACT-800 in its own drive racks, deployed as a standard for use with analyser microphone systems. The MIPRO ACT-800 range includes single, dual and quad receivers along with a number of transmitters including the TA-80 plug-on transmitter which delivers full 48V phantom power to condenser mics. A wide 72MHz tuning range per band ensures flexibility with frequency allocation whilst the digital, compander-free, transmission system ensures the linear phase and frequency response required for use with audio analyser systems. An optional Dante or AVB interface card for the dual and quad receivers adds an extra level of connectivity above the standard analogue and AES/EBU connections.

It’s ideal for us to include a quad receiver in every drive rack which keeps us well covered for any eventuality with analyser systems. Also available from 22live is the MIPRO ACT-5800 series. Operating in the license free 5.8GHz frequency range, this system is great toolbox addition for engineers who want to free their measurement mics from the tyranny of cables. Although the ACT-5800 doesn’t have the option of a Dante interface or the user accessible DSP of the flagship ACT-800 system, the same selection of single, dual and quad receivers and a plug-on transmitters provide equivalent core functionality at a lower price.
